QQ Services

I'm QQ is Tencent's first real English website to introduce QQ to English speakers. The English QQ versions were always hidden on a Chinese page and this made it very difficult for foreigners to get started. To help people get started, I created a personal page with signup information and last year an English page was launched to promote Tencent Messenger 2008. With I'mQQ.com this is taken another big step forward. It's now easier than ever for foreigners to register a QQ account and to find out what QQ is all about.

Constructing Identity Online

There are many Identities online that I have already used, such as MSN, facebook, renren, QQ, Fetion, e-mail and so on.
MSN and QQ can help me talk with people at home, and I can see my family and friends on the internet. They are also help me to send files on the internet.Fetion has some commons with MSN and QQ.But there is one different from them that is it can sent message to people’s telephone number. Renren and Facebook are the same Identity online .they are all help us to meet classmates and friends online.
Online identity has given people the opportunity to feel comfortable and freedom in wide-ranging roles, some of which may be underlying aspects of the user's life that the user is unable to portray in the real world. This freedom results in new opportunities for society as a whole, especially the ability for people to explore the roles of gender and sexuality in a manner that can be harmless, yet interesting and helpful to those undertaking the change.

Extraterrestrial Mission to Earth

Given the preceding principles, we can define digital film in this way:
digital film = live action material + painting + image processing +
compositing + 2-D computer animation + 3-D computer animation

Compared with traditional cinema, digital cinema only needs one single digital cinema projector, which converts the digital signal into images and projects them onto the screen. There is no intermission during a digital movie and unlike its counterpart, no chance of damage caused by long-time irradiation of light. The reason is that digital movies do not use film. It is all computerized. This means digital screenings will be devoid of scratches or flickering images commonly found on film copies. The high quality seen in very first screening will be maintained irrespective of the number of times the movie is shown.

High quality, profitable and consumer- friendly digital movies are here to stay
Although many people will not think that digital cinema is important for their everyday life ,they don’t know they are benefit from it in their everyday life.
Digital cinema can bring us some magic and passion feel that traditional filmmaker could’t give to us .and the mission to earth told me there is another things we need to do.......

Hong Kong Bus Uncle with English and Mandarin Subtitles

An example ------ the bus uncle
It might be different since we were raised in a Hong Kong-type culture - already. So, you might beuse to interacting with local people (and how they act...like this video on a daily basis in Hong Kong). For me, I come from china mainland. There a big cultural gap watching these types of things maybe is from our environment and culture .I feel ignorant and this is alien to me.. the Bus uncle is completely wrong in asking for an apology and in verbally abusing the younger guy about his mom. Like he says, his mom has nothing to do with their argument.

YouTube

1.How many viewers are estimated to have watched the YouTube video?
Actually I don’t know how many viewers use it, but there are whole people around me use it to watch video.
2. How would you rate the video?
Is it of high quality in technical terms? Is it interesting aesthetically egg camera angles, use of light, the narrative, and so on?
Yeah I think it is a kind of high quality in technical terms.
And it is interesting for his camera angles, the angle showed us that the view for real people and for the interesting things that people did.
Does it raise interesting socio-cultural issues?
Of course it will raise interesting socio-cultural issues for audiences such as sex, violence, substance abuse, profanity, impudence or other types of mature content. A particular issued rating is called a certification.
3. Do you think it deserved the attention that it received from the internet community?
Not really, maybe other video service can also do what YouTube do, but you will see some competences on the internet between YouTube and some other video service
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_video_services this address will show you the difference between YouTube and some other video service

Digital technology and Analog technology

What is analog technology?

People accept digital things easily enough, often by thinking of them as electronic, computerized, and perhaps not even worth trying to understand. But the concept of analog technology often seems more baffling—especially when people try to explain it in pages like this! So what's it all about? (I find it in the internet)

What is digital technology?

Digital is entirely different. Instead of storing words, pictures, and sounds as representations on things like plastic film or magnetic tape, we first convert the information into numbers (digits) and display or store the numbers instead. (I find it in the internet)

Which is better, analog or digital?
An analog watch might be far more accurate than a digital one, and if it has a sweeping second hand it will represent the time more precisely than a digital watch whose display shows only hours and minutes. Generally, the most expensive watches in the world are analog ones (of course, that's partly because people prefer the way they look); though the world's most accurate atomic clocks show time with digital displays.

One interesting question is whether information stored in digital form will last as long as analog information. Museums still have paper documents that are thousands of years old, but no-one has the first email or cell phone conversation. A lot of information recorded on early computer memory devices is completely impossible to read with newer computers; even floppy disks, commonplace as recently as the mid-1990s, are impossible to read on newer computers that no longer have built-in floppy drives.

That's why, though the future may be digital, analog technology will always have its place!
